After teasing the “Elle Mummy” refrain on social media earlier in 2026, Nigerian street-pop singer T.I BLAZE has released “Round One (Elle Mummy)”, extending his catalogue of contemporary Afrobeats recordings.
The singer had shared snippets of the song as far back as March, with another preview appearing in September. Those early promotions introduced the recurring expression to his followers, building familiarity with the recording ahead of its official arrival.
T.I BLAZE has established his musical identity through melodic street-pop, frequently incorporating Yoruba and Nigerian Pidgin into his songwriting. His ability to combine conversational expressions with memorable vocal phrases has remained central to his work, particularly since his rise to mainstream recognition.
Following the success of his El-Chapo EP in 2025, the singer continues maintaining his presence in Nigeria’s music scene. The earlier previews give this release an audience already familiar with its refrain, while his established following provides an opportunity for wider reception.
The song is available across major digital streaming platforms. Give it a listen and share your thoughts in the comments below.
