Rapiano EP

South African artist CowBoii brings together the worlds of rap-inspired energy and Amapiano-driven dance music on his project Rapiano.

Released on December 3, 2025, the project contains five tracks with a total runtime of approximately 35 minutes. The release is associated with Mculo and EMPIRE.

The title Rapiano immediately suggests the project’s central creative direction: a meeting point between rap’s confident attitude and Amapiano’s rhythmic, bass-heavy, dance-focused sound. Rather than presenting a lengthy album, CowBoii keeps the project focused and compact, using five extended tracks to create a cohesive listening experience.

With collaborations involving artists such as Focalistic, Daliwonga, ShaunMusiq, Mordecai, Shakes & Les, Lastborn Diroba, TheBuu, Novatron, and Lowbass Djy, the EP offers a strong lineup of established and emerging voices from the South African dance music scene.
